La función del DJ debe ser crear y recrear, no es suficiente considerar al DJ como “rockola”, el DJ es más que eso. Un DJ puede componer producir, dirigir y atender las necesidades musicales de su entorno, sin dejar de aportar su conocimiento. Es la persona encargada de seleccionar, reproducir, mezclar y/o difundir la música dirigida a un público o audiencia para generar un estímulo y posteriormente obtener una reacción.
